It’s official! Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle has just surpassed 2002’s Spider-Man as Sony’s highest grossing film at the domestic box office. With over $403MM accumulated since its December 2017 opening, Jumanji is a verified blockbuster. 

Director Jake Kasdan’s updated take on the nostalgic 1995 original has proved successful overseas as well, raking in over $500MM in foreign markets. Surely building off the colossal success, Sony has announced a sequel.
